WHAT IS YLC?
The Youth Leadership Conference on Asian and Pacific Islander Health at Stanford University is a four day conference led by the Asian Liver Center at the Stanford University School of Medicine. High school students come from all over the world to sharpen their leadership skills for effecting change in local, national, and global communities.
Conference participants will meet other students interested in making a difference in public health. Leading medical experts, professors, and policymakers will speak on issues of Asian and Pacific Islander health. Students will also have the opportunity to apply the skills they gain and work together in a team outreach project.
WHY YLC?
The Youth Leadership Conference provides students with an opportunity to instill confidence and provide a sense of empowerment in our society, motivating them to take action and make a positive impact in their communities.
PREVIOUS SPEAKERS
In the previous years, we have had some remarkable guest speakers who have shared their expertise, experiences, and insights with our audience. From successful entrepreneurs to Olympic athletes, our guest speakers have come from a diverse range of fields and backgrounds. Their talks have covered a variety of topics, such as leadership, innovation, social impact, and personal development. Our guest speakers have not only inspired our attendees but also challenged their perspectives and encouraged them to think critically about important issues. We look forward to continuing to invite inspiring speakers to our future events.
